ITINERARY

Pick-up and drop-off take place near the Leixões cruise port exit. Since cruise ships dock in Leixões rather than Porto city center, the tour begins with a scenic drive along the coast toward the Douro River estuary and continues upstream into historic Porto.

During the panoramic drive and stops, you will see many of the city’s best-known landmarks, including the Dom Luís I Bridge, the Stock Exchange Palace area, the Ribeira riverside district and the Clérigos Tower.

Planned stops include Henry the Navigator Square (approx. 30 minutes), Avenida dos Aliados (approx. 45 minutes) and Jardim da Cordoaria (approx. 30 minutes), allowing time for photos, short walks and exploration.

The excursion is scheduled according to your cruise timing to ensure a relaxed visit and guaranteed on-time return to port.

HOW TO FIND US

The tour departs from the Port Gate outside the Leixões cruise terminal area.

For your convenience and safety, free shuttle buses operate continuously between the cruise terminal and the Port Gate (about a 2-minute ride). You do not need to walk.

When you exit the terminal building, you will find the shuttle stop on your left side next to the building. These are public shuttle buses (not private coaches) displaying a front sign that reads “PORT GATE.” You may also see a sidewalk sign marked “PIER BUS.”

If no shuttle is waiting, the next one usually arrives within a few minutes. The shuttle drops you directly at the Port Gate, where our staff will be waiting.
