ITINERARY

Since ships dock in Leixões rather than Porto city center, the tour begins with a scenic coastal drive toward the Douro River estuary and continues into historic Porto.

The guided panoramic city tour introduces you to Porto’s most important landmarks and viewpoints, combining coach touring with selected walking and photo stops. Highlights include the Dom Luís I Bridge area, the Ribeira riverside district, Clérigos Tower surroundings, Avenida dos Aliados and historic squares where you will have time for short walks and photos. During the stops, guests can also enjoy local snacks and traditional Portuguese “petiscos.”

The excursion continues at the riverside with the classic Six Bridges Douro River Cruise, one of Porto’s most popular experiences, offering unique views of the city and its iconic bridges from the water.

After the cruise, the program includes a Port wine tasting at a traditional riverside wine cellar, where you will discover the region’s wine heritage.

Following the river experience, we return comfortably toward the port area. Depending on timing, guests may also enjoy a short walk along Matosinhos Beach near the cruise terminal before re-boarding.

HOW TO FIND US

The tour departs directly from inside the Leixões cruise terminal building — no shuttle bus is required.

Our Tours 4 Cruisers guide will be waiting in the arrivals area after disembarkation, holding a sign with our company name TOURS4CRUISERS and wearing a red jacket or shirt for easy recognition.

Please proceed through the terminal exit area at your normal pace. Your guide will be clearly visible near the main passenger flow.
